Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with Governor Babatunde Fashola and the people
of Lagos State on the passing away of the paramount ruler of Ikorodu, Oba Salaudeen Oyefusi recently.
The President extended sincere condolences to the late Ayangburen's family and his subjects, especially the
people of Ikorodu.
“President Jonathan urges them to be comforted by his worthy legacies of grassroots development,
modernisation, peace and progress. The President also urges the late Oba's family, friends and subjects to
give thanks to God Almighty for his long and very fulfilled live, a great part of which was devoted to wise
and benevolent leadership of his people”.
The President prayed that God Almighty would grant Oba Oyefusi's soul eternal rest.
Oba Salaudeen Oyefusi died last Saturday in a London hospital, where he was receiving treatment.
He was 83.
