14-year-old girl and her lover, 22 commit suicide over pregnancy

A young couple has been found dead in a double suicide as
indications point to a pregnancy she was carrying as the cause of
their action.
14-year-old Irina Korovina and Anatoly Maslov , 22 were found
with their hands wrapped around each other on a tree near the
Russian town of Tver.
The couple didn’t leave a suicide note to explain their actions but
investigations have revealed that the girl’s parents tried to get her
to abort the 3-month-old pregnancy.
The teenager’s mother said that they had only found out about the
pregnancy that day and had tried to end the relationship due to
the age difference.
