Police to investigate Kaduna bombings

Abuja - THE Inspector General of Police (IGP), Abubakar
Mohammed, has deployed a high-powered investigation team to
arrest the perpetrators of the recent bombings in Kaduna.
According to a press statement by Frank Mba, Force Public
Relations Officer, from Abuja the team consists of seasoned
investigators.
The Interpol Unit as well as the Commissioner of Police in Charge of
Legal Department, Nwodibo Ekechukwu,  Chris Ezike of the Federal
Specialist Anti-Robbery Squad and Dan Mallam of the Monitoring
Unit will lead the team that will work in close collaboration with
other security agencies.
Mba added that on the orders of the IGP, security had been
tightened in all states of the federation, particularly in the states
perceived to be more vulnerable to terror attacks.
He said the Mohammed called on the citizens to cooperate with the
security agencies by providing them with relevant information to
solve the crime.
More than 80 people were killed following twin bomb blasts in
Kaduna State earlier this week. – CAJ News
